I have been working as a Podiatrist/Chiropodist since 2006, when I graduated from Queen Margaret University College (now Queen Margaret University) with a BSc (Distinction) in Podiatry.
From 2006 to 2010 I worked for The Edinburgh Podiatry Clinic where, along with providing routine Chiropody treatments, I worked extensively in the field of Biomechanics, treating athletes from a wide range of sports including professional rugby players, tennis players and runners. Using a number of treatments including strapping, stretching exercises and orthotic insoles these athletes were helped to recover from their injuries and get back to their sport as quickly as possible.
I combined this with working for Marchmont Podiatry & Chiropody Clinic, and then established Jo Brydie Footcare in 2007, working initially from Longniddry GP Surgery, and now from Bliss Beauty in Dunbar and the Knight Clinic in Musselburgh as well.
I pride myself in providing a friendly, relaxed and professional service where my patients enjoy their appointments. Have a look at the Testimonials page for some feedback from happy patients!
